The Internet Index (yaii.html, quant.html, reference.html) evolved during a 1-year stay at Columbia University which was made possible by a Fulbright Grant. I was lucky to get to know the Web just at the right time (1993) on such a fast link. After browsing for a while I felt that my hotlist needed some structure and I started to write HTML files.
These pages were not intended to be comprehensive but rather as a working tool. Now, they are completely outdated, though I try to maintain an idea of what public sources are on the Internet (ftp, gopher, www,...), and how to search the web.
